FALL 2024 ATHLETIC/TRYOUT INFORMATION

Fall Sports Tryouts

Fall Sports can begin on August 5th (Golf- August 1st) Below are the tryout times for the 1st day of tryouts for each Fall sport. Do not forget to make sure all required forms are turned in by Friday, August 2^nd (golf- 7/30) In order to tryout on the first day.

Cheer: Monday, August 5^th from 6-9 PM in the aux gym-

Golf: Thursday, August 1^st  time- 1 PM at Oak Marr Rec. **See Coach Windt, following days and locations will vary!

Field Hockey: Monday August 5^th from 6-9PM on the stadium turf field

Football: Saturday, August 3^rd equipment p/up-NOON to 2PM in the locker room. 

1^st practice August 5^th 9AM-2PM stadium.

Physical Collection Night

We will be having a “Physical Collection Night” on Friday, August 2^nd from 4-6pm in the cafeteria (Eric & Jordyn). Any student who would like to play sports this year can bring in a physical dated after May 1st. Physicals can also be brought to the school's Activities Office anytime between 8am-2pm (Monday-Friday) throughout the summer.

Physical Form

The VHSL has changed the physical form for next year. If your child plans on playing a sport next school year, it must be on the new form and be completed after May 1^st of this year. The form can be found @ www.gcmstatesmensports.com

FALL STUDENT/ATHLETES:  AFTER COMPLETING THE 24/25 ATHLETIC REGISTRATION…PLEASE BRING YOUR COMPLETED PHYSICAL FORM TO THE ACTIVITIES OFFICE 8 AM-2 PM OR SEND JOE SWARM (jswarm@fcps.edu).  ANY ISSUES THEY CAN CONTACT OUR OFFICE 703-714-5409.

All-Season passes, your student (and your whole family) will have the flexibility to go in and out of any regular-season home game and support friends without getting stopped at the gate with the $5 entrance fee.
